I’m Lane and you can find me under the stars. My arms can point the way to the Pleadies and Sirius the dog star, if you want to know where they are. From where I sleep, I can watch stars fall into the folds of cactus covered hillsides. Lately, the stars haven’t been as bright because of the artificial light from towns that is slipping in. If I can’t star gaze, I’m nothing. I’m a glutton for romance, can’t you tell?

I dream of riding the seas and seeing the world. I’m told it is a big world and I’d like to share it with someone who can tolerate the quiet because I don’t talk too much. My last relationship was with Granite, and he was a real stonewall. He still hangs around and you will have to be OK with meeting him because he lives 5ft away.

If you can chop wood, build a fire, cook a steak over an open flame and tell me which plants to gather to brew into a tea and ease my aching bones, I think we will be a good pair.
